Thanks to its prominent usage of “Gotta Get Up” in Netflix’s new comedy, Russian Doll, everybody’s talking about Harry Nilsson again. The song takes the opening spot on the beloved singer-songwriter’s seminal 1971 album Nilsson Schmilsson.
The influential LP also features classic Nilsson cuts like “Coconut” and the Grammy-winning “Without You,” which just happens to have hit #1 on the American charts today in 1972.
